I'm so glad you've got your hands on my couples client guide. If you're reading this, we are most likely booked in to have a couples photoshoot together.
Most of us feel a little awkward in front of a camera, although having these memories to look back on in 3, 5 or even 20 years time will make all the awkward moments worth it. You can sleep easy knowing that this is my passion and I'm here to capture all the raw and intimate moments. There is no need to pose like your year 10 formal photos, I will gently guide you and make you feel at ease during our session.
Locking it in!
If you haven't already decided on a date and time, there are a couple of things to consider when scheduling a couples session with me. If we are shooting outdoors, 1 -2 hours after sunrise and 1-2 hours before sunset are the perfect times for me to capture that beautiful, soft orange glow. The sun won't be harsh, and the possibility to watch the sunset with your loved one makes our session together even more memorable. Although if you have your heart set on a particular time of day - Let's Chat !
Weather!
Depending on what you're after, weather is something to consider too! If you know you get monsoon rains at a particular time of the year and the drenched scene out of the notebook isn't really what you're going for, perhaps it would be better to plan the shoot for another time. There is something so special about every time of year with fresh snowfall in winter, lush greenery of spring, long hazey days of summer and the crunchy orange of autumn... know that whatever season you choose, you'll have epic photos regardless.
If you want to be able to use the photos for a 'save the date' notice, I highly recommend scheduling your session atleast 4 months in advance! This allows a comfterable amount of time for selections, edits, designs, printing and delivery.
